EMBROIDERY FEATURES
LARGE EMBROIDERY AREA: 7.1" x 5.1" (180mm x 130mm): Big embroidery projects made easier. The Pacesetter PC-6500 has a large 7.1" x 5.1" (180mm x 130mm) embroidery area. Stitch huge designs without the need to reposition your fabric or hoop. Imagine embroidering large scale designs with the same ease as smaller designs. The Extra Large Frame is also available as an option, which has an empressive 11.8" x 5.1" (300mm x 130mm) embroidery area.	ON-SCREEN EDITING: The PC6500 makes your designs unique and as easy as 1-2-3! 1. Use the large LCD display to view over 850 built-in decorative and lettering choices or select from our convenient memory card patterns. Select a pattern by simply touching the icon on the touch-screen display. 2. View your design on the screen before embroidery begins. The PC-8500 even shows you the separate color areas, estimated embroidery time and suggested thread color. 3. The PC6500 stops at the end of the each color area and cuts the top & bottom thread to allow you re-thread for the next color. Within minutes you will have a beautiful multi-color embroidered design you can be proud of.
PATTERN SCALING: One of the powerful editing features is the scaling. Built-in patterns and fonts can be reduced or enlarged in the range of 90% - 120%.	ROTATION BY 90 DEGREE INCREMENTS: Rotate your work by 90 degree increments for greater combination of your work to reduce the need for re-hooping. MIRROR IMAGE: Built-in or optional embroidery patterns can be flipped horizontally by a touch of the LCD screen.
FLORAL ALPHABET: The beautiful 5" (130mm) high floral alphabet font is included. 10 FRAME & 12 STITCH DESIGNS: Choose from 10 frame shapes that can be stitched in your choice of 12 border styles. Each frame can be enlarged or reduced to perfectly fit your embroidery designs.	3 MORE BUILT-IN MONOGRAMMING FONTS: The 3 more monogram fonts will add variety to your many monogramming projects. These fonts are adjustable in size from 1/4 (7.5mm) to over 1" (30mm) including a 6/9" (15mm) monogramming size.

BROTHER EMBROIDERY DESIGN BOUTIQUE: The newest library of embroidery designs conveniently organized in a full color book, "Embroidery Design Boutique." Select from 1,109 patterns in 36 categories. Each category can be purchased in an embroidery card.	MULTI-THREAD STAND: Conveniently organizes up to 10 thread spool sat the rear of your machine!

SEWING FEATURES: INSTRUCTIONAL TOUCH SCREEN DISPLAY: The Sewing Advisor feature turns the LCD display into your own built-in instruction and reference book. Simply touch the screen on the area of interest and see pictures and text describing different sewing techniques and suggestions. Stitch information and adjustment ranges are conveniently shown on the LCD display along with other instructional information including how to select one of the 12 different languages built-in to the PC6500 even gives you Warning Messages such as when your bobbin thread is running out.	WONDERFUL SELECTION OF SEWING STITCHES: 68 UTILITY AND DECORATIVE STITCHES: Choose from a variety of utility and decorative sewing stitches for your special project. The Brother Pacesetter PC-6500 has a wonderful selection of sewing stitches to add a professional finish or decorative detail to any sewing project. Select from the 68 general and speciality stitches including a long basting stitch, applique stitch, hem stitches, 16 satin stitches for adding beautiful detail; 5 heirloom stitches to create the perfect Victorian look; a wide selection of decorative designs that are fun to use in a variety of projects. MY CUSTOM STITCH: Have you ever seen a special stitch that you wish could be duplicated on your machine? Well, with the Pacesetter exclusive "My Custom Stitch" feature, you can copy or design decorative stitches right on the LCD display and then record them into memory for future use. There is no limit to the number of new stitches you can create.
DROP FEED CONTROL: Drop feed control for free motion embroidery and quilting.	F.A.S.T. NEEDLE THREADING SYSTEM: Fast and simple threading says it all! Save time and your eyesight, by automatically feeding the thread through your needle's eye.
ONE-STEP BUTTON HOLE SEWING: With fully automatic buttonhole sewing, you can choose the pattern to match the design. Just set your bobbin in the convenient auto-size section of the buttonhole foot and accurate buttonholes are created in one easy step. Ten types of buttonholes that correspond to a variety of fabric thicknesses and applications are available.	PROGRAMMED THREAD CUTTER: With the automatic thread cutter, troublesome thread management is no longer necessary. Once you select the pre-programmed thread cutting operation, the thread is automatically cut at the end of sewing or embroidering. With this helpful function, thread cutting can now be left up to the machine. Manual thread cutting can be performed as well.
AUTOMATIC THREAD TENSION: Automatic thread tension computer adjusts the thread tension for a perfect stitch result on any fabric or combination.	AUTOMATIC REINFORCEMENT: Automatic reinforcement stitch locks the beginning and ending stitch with the touch of a button, you no longer need to sew them yourself. When used together with the automatic thread cutter, both the reinforcement stitching and thread cutting can be performed automatically.
F.A.S.T. BOBBIN WINDING SYSTEM: Brother's use of the lastest technology has made their sewing machines even easier to use. To wind the bobbin, just wind the thread around the bobbin a few times, pass it through the slit in the bobbin winder seat and press the START/STOP button. No need to cut off the excess thread or stop the sewing machine when the bobbin is full.	QUICK-SET DROP-IN BOBBIN: Quick-set drop-in bobbin system with clear view window shows bobbin thread at-a-glace. You'll never have to pull the thread up again. It's Automatic!
