Elna Club Serger News Confetti Tote Bag Tot bags come in all sizes and are used for all sorts of reasons. They can be decorative... practical... simple... fancy, but yet they all have handles and are used to carry something. The nice thing about a tote bag is it has lots of flat space that can be decorated. We have chosen to use a technique called confetti to decorate our bags. It is a combination of thread scraps, fusible webbing, netting, and decorative cover hem and chain stitching, to recreate a piece of fabric. Choose to decorate one or both sides of your bag, as desired. In addition, we are using the adjustable bias binder foot to finish the top edge of the bag. Instructions are given for two different sizes of tote bags, but the dimensions can be adjusted to fit your own needs. Instructions are given for both bags together, and special size instructions are noted.
Elna Club Serger News Elegant Vintage Quilt Sampler This project has it all, photo transfer, reverse bobbin work, the quilting stitch, lace shaping and more. By combining these techniques, an antique, aged, or black and white photo and vintage looking fabrics, we can create an elegant heirloom. Use those old scraps of lace, or if possible, paint or dye some lace for vintage look. Hunt for vintage photos at the local flea market or antique mall/store. Collecting all the goodies is as much fun as making this easy quilt. This project was designed with the 6003Q in mind however it will work up beautifully using the 6005 Heirloom Edition or any other Elna Sewing Machine.	The Elna 6003Q! & The NEW Elna 6005! Confetti Tote Bag

Tot bags come in all sizes and are used for all sorts of reasons. They can be decorative... practical... simple... fancy, but yet they all have handles and are used to carry something. The nice thing about a tote bag is it has lots of flat space that can be decorated.

We have chosen to use a technique called confetti to decorate our bags. It is a combination of thread scraps, fusible webbing, netting, and decorative cover hem and chain stitching, to recreate a piece of fabric. Choose to decorate one or both sides of your bag, as desired. In addition, we are using the adjustable bias binder foot to finish the top edge of the bag.

Instructions are given for two different sizes of tote bags, but the dimensions can be adjusted to fit your own needs. Instructions are given for both bags together, and special size instructions are noted.
