The S548 Champagne, S558 Red Velvet and S658 Blue Moon deluxe canister vacuum cleaners represent the latest technological achievements in vacuum cleaner engineering and production. Creating a new hallmark in the international floor care industry, these canisters deliver the most comprehensive array of features available from Miele or any other vacuum cleaner producer.

Most impressively, the S500 and S600 series represent the world's first ever certified vacuum cleaners. Using a certified HEPA filter is important, because it is rated to retain 99.9% of all lung damaging particles 0.3 microns and larger. However, that is only half of the picture.

This "full picture" would include a HEPA filter
installed in a sealed environment;
one that does not leak air prior to being filtered.

Miele S300 - S600 series canister vacuums deliver on both counts. People especially concerned with indoor-air quality will be pleased to know that the S500 / S600 series was tested against one of the world's most stringent filtration standards (EN 1822).

As expected, virtually all particulate matter was contained within these vacuums, earning the S500 / S600 series the world's first certificate of HEPA certification: Vacuum cleaner and HEPA filter, working in tandem.

Both the S548 Champagne, S558 Red Velvet and its larger-capacity sister, the S658 Blue Moon, come equipped with Miele's certified HEPA filter already installed in the canister.

Like all other Miele vacuums, our deluxe canister vacuum cleaners are constructed from ABS plastic, making them durable for a lifetime of use. Additionally, these vacuum cleaners come standard with and carry useful accessory tools on-board.

Introduced on these products is Miele's complete "direct connect" system with speed controls on a handy console at the top of the hose handle.

This quick access gives you the power to electronically adjust the motor's output to optimize cleaning of any surface or object right at your fingertips.

With this type of control, cleaning lamp shades, curtains and fabric window blinds becomes an almost joyful task undertaken with ease.

Conventional dusting will also become an activity of the past when using a Champagne, Red Velvet or Blue Moon vacuum by Miele.

Also included with these products is the unique telescopic electric wand allowing for unsurpassed flexibility and cleaning convenience, while delivering the required electrical power to the optional powerbrush floor tool. As with the S514 Solaris series, the floor tools are developed with a two-point holder clip for increased stability when using Miele's unique carrying, storage or parking features.
